El Comité Técnico «Slips, Trips and Falls» de la International Ergonomics Association (IEA) ha invitado a la asociación española Slip Resistance Group of Spain (SRGS) para organizar la Conferencia Internacional «Slips, Trips and Falls 2020» en Madrid.Las anteriores convocatorias celebradas entre Europa y América han tratado los problemas de accidentalidad dentro del entorno construido, que repercuten anualmente de forma grave y costosa. En esta edición española hemos querido incorporar la accesibilidad y el envejecimiento, aspecto muy ligado al anterior y de gran incertidumbre futura. La Conferencia se realizará en el Instituto de Ciencias de la Construcción Eduardo Torroja del CSIC los días 13-14 de febrero de 2020. El plazo para el envío de resúmenes ya está abierto. The «Slips, Trips and Falls» Technical Committee of the International Ergonomics Association (IEA) has invited the Spanish association Slip Resistance Group of Spain (SRGS) to organize the International Conference «Slips, Trips and Falls 2020» in Madrid.The previous calls in Europe and America have focused on problems of accidents in the built environment, which suppose a relevant annual impact in a serious and costly way. Accessibility and aging is incorporate in the new Spanish edition, an aspect close to the previous calls and of great future uncertainty. The Conference will be held at the Institute Eduardo Torroja for Construction Sciences – CSIC on February 13-14, 2020. The abstracts submission is now open.
