With the impressive Kaunas Fort (Lithuania) as the venue, the InnovaConcrete project organizes an international workshop entitled MONUMENTS and NON-MONUMENTS: CONCRETE HERITAGE OF POST-WAR ERA. Organized by Gunny Harboe as president of ICOMOSISC20C, it is conceived as a space for discussion on whether concrete structures of different types, uses and functionalities are to be bequeathed to future generations as an important part of our history. Representatives of different European Monuments selected by InnovaConcrete as cases of study will be speakers at said Worshop. Juan Queipo de Llano and Elena Frías will be speakers claiming the heritage value of Eduardo Torroja’s concrete work and the IETcc as a heritage building.
