We are pleased to announce the third issue of the newsletter of the IRINEMA project, “Immobilization of nuclear-grade ionic resins in alkali-activated materials” (2019-Q1/AMB-13672). In this newsletter we want to share the progress and main news in the third year of the project IRINEMA. This project is led at the IETcc-CSIC by the Risk and Safety Management Group.
In this third IRINEMA newsletter, the reader may find information about the results obtained in the last year of the project and about the latest collaborations with companies, universities and research centres. In particular, the third edition of the bulletin has been dedicated to two active project collaborators: The National Centre for Biotechnology (CSIC) and The University of Sheffield. Besides, there is also a section dedicated to sharing the latest news, activities, congress and conferences in where IRINEMA has participated, disseminating the scientific knowledge generated through the project.
