UPM Press, Madrid Polytechnical University press company has just published the book titled Materiales para la Arquitectura (Materials for Architecture).
This academic book is aimed to foster the understanding and necessary knowledge for building the architectural project. Its chapter ”Introduction to prescription”, written by Mr. Eduardo Lahoz Ruiz (IETcc PhD. Architect), presents the activities developed by the Innovative Products Assessment Unit.DIT about issuing of DIT, DITplus, EAD and ETA. Furthermore, IETcc selflessly collaborated thanks to Mrs. Esperanza Menéndez, author of the back cover photograph, belonging to the IETcc exhibition “Lo que tu ojo no ve”
This book is just a preliminary example of how important these activities are for the training of future architects, who will soon prescript innovative construction products.
